Award Title Dermal Toxicology SS  Student and Postdoctoral Awards 
Award Description Stratacor sponsors the student and postdoctoral awards for skin related research. These awards recognize outstanding student candidates for their contribution to advancing the understanding of skin toxicology and pharmacology. Each candidate whose abstract has been accepted by the SOT for presentation in the 2012 Annual Meeting must submit a copy of the abstract in electronic form (Word doc). The awards consist of a plaque and check. The winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section.

Winner Receives: 1st place Graduate Student $500; 1st place Postdoctoral $500

Award Title Dermal Toxicology SS  Annual “Paper of the Year” Award 
Award Description The Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section is requesting nominations for the DTSS Annual Paper of the Year Award in recognition of an exceptional recent publication in the field of skin toxicology and pharmacology. To be eligible, paper must have been published or in press in a peer reviewed journal during the period of August 1, 2010 to July 31, 2011 and first-authored by an SOT member. Each nomination must be accompanied by an electronic copy of the publication. The award consists of a plaque and a $500 honorarium. The winner will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section at the 2012 Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting.

Award Title Dermal Toxicology SS  Battelle Student Research Award  
Award Description This award, sponsored by Battelle, presents a check for $2500.00 and a plaque to each of two students for use in research projects involving dermal toxicology. Applicants for this award must submit to the DTSS the title of the project, specific aims of the project, approach to be used in the project, and anticipated outcome and impact of the project. The winner will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section at the 2012 Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting.

Award Title Dermal Toxicology SS  Informa Healthcare Award  
Award Description The Informa Healthcare Award is presented for the best paper in dermal toxicology published in the Journal of Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology. The winner receives a certificate of recognition and a subscription to the Journal of Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology. The winner will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section at the 2012 Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting.
