Message from the President

This past year offered a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our Specialty Section followed most recently by the 50th Anniversary of the Society of Toxicology. For ISS, it has been a time of appreciation and gratitude for our colleagues who first helped to define the scientific area of immunotoxicology and then paved the way for the training, research, and risk assessment that followed including the recognition of this area today as an integral part of human and animal health protection.
