Web Guidelines for RC/SIG/SSs

Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections are encouraged to post newsletters, officer listings, meeting announcements, etc. on the SOT website. Please forward the information, documents and instructions for posting to the staff liaison, Rosibel Alvarenga. The staff liaison will coordinate with the Webmaster to have your items promptly posted to your RC/SIG/SS site. A confirmation message will be sent via email when the item(s) has been posted.

Minimum Web Content for Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections:

  • Statement of purpose/mission
  • Current officers (names and affiliation only: no email—which can be obtained by SOT members through the online directory and Toxchange)
  • Current Bylaws
  • Annual Reports
  • A link to the information on “How to Join/Benefits of Membership”
  • All RC/SIG/SS are encouraged to develop and maintain more complete sites: Information that should be considered: newsletters, history, awards, etc.
