Information about On-Line Career Resource and Development Services

The On-Line Service provides a year-round mechanism for linking job candidates with employment positions in toxicology and related biological sciences. The system stores information submitted by its users and permits searches in categories such as: years of experience, types of experience, areas of expertise, type of position, type of employer, salary, and geographical location. The system has two options for users wishing to remain anonymous: The first option allows users to keep their identity hidden by selecting the “confidential” preference on the profile form. The second option allows users to simply register and pay for the service, skip the profile form and proceed directly to the search and browse menu options. Employers will not be able to search for candidates in this category. Contact with another user of the Service is made via an e-mail message created from within the system. You may also contact these companies or candidates directly by phone or fax.

Registrations will be valid for six months and all users may access the system as often as they wish. If your registration is valid during the Annual Meeting dates, March 6–10, 2005, you will be able to take advantage of the traditional Career Resource and Development Services offered at the Annual Meeting.

An additional fee will be charged to those companies or individuals who do not have access to the Internet and require assistance.

Career Resource and Development Services at the 2005 Annual Meeting

Career Resource and Development Services provide members with a year-round on-line service linking job candidates with employers and positions in toxicology and related biological sciences and the Service at the Annual Meetings. The Career Resource and Development Services will be available at the 2005 Annual Meeting for interested employers and candidates.

The Career Resource and Development Services will assist with the scheduling of interviews, and interview areas will be provided. Candidates will have the opportunity to view job announcements and message boards will be available to facilitate communication between employers and candidates. Although on-line preregistration is encouraged, registrations for the Career Resource and Development Services will be accepted at the Annual Meeting.

If you are a candidate attending the Annual Meeting, you are encouraged to bring multiple copies of your personal resume for interested interviewers.

All job placement activities at the Annual Meeting will be carried out via the Career Resource and Development Services. No employer will be allowed to advertise positions elsewhere at the Annual Meeting.
