Those who pre-register will be scheduled into a morning or afternoon sessions for organized groups. These groups will rotate among the stations and also have time to explore other special SOT displays. Located near Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Baltimore Convention Center, Port Discovery was recognized as the 4th best children’s museum in 2002.

Information and Registration for High School Students
Paracelsus was a scholar in the 1500s who determined that the same chemicals could be safe or the same chemical could be harmful, depending upon the level of exposure to that chemical. Paracelsus has been the mascot for outreach activities for SOT for over a decade as the Society hosted teacher workshops and other science enrichment activities every year as part of the SOT Annual Meeting. SOT is committed to sharing the excitement of science and importance of science careers. Through the years, SOT has organized a series of 10 teacher workshops to encourage the use of toxicology-related curriculum materials, provided public lectures, hosted another museum event, and conducted programs for students as part of increasing the impact of toxicology and creating a safer and healthier world.
If you need assistance or have a general inquiry, please contact the Paracelsus Event Chair and Coordinator.
