Annual Meeting Registration Information

Early Registration

On-line and early registration is strongly encouraged. The Annual Meeting Early Registration deadline is January 9, 2006. The registration fee for the SOT Annual Meeting includes admission to all scientific sessions, Awards Presentation, ToxExpo™, a copy of the Program, The Toxicologist on CD-ROM (abstracts), and the ToxExpo™ Directory. SOT will accept Registrations until March 2. After March 2, you must register on-site at the Annual Meeting.

Registration Materials

When you arrive at the San Diego Convention Center, please go to the registration area to pick up your registration materials. Your 2006 Annual Meeting registration badge must be presented to obtain the registration materials (i.e., The Toxicologist on CD-ROM, badge holder, the ToxExpo™ Directory and other supplementary materials).

On-Line Registration

SOT members and non-members are invited to register for the 2006 SOT Annual Meeting using SOT’s On-Line Registration System (available October 2005). The system is designed for those who will be paying their registration fee by credit card and who have access to the Internet.

* After February 7, Final Registration rates apply. No substitutions after January 9, 2006. SOT will accept faxed Registration Forms until March 2. On-Site Registration Forms will be available at the Annual Meeting Registration Desk.
** Special offer to non-member 2006 Annual Meeting attendees: apply by May1, 2006 for membership and SOT will waive your 2006 dues.

Forms will be date-stamped as they arrive. This is your date of registration. Faxes will be accepted by SOT Headquarters only if a credit card number is clearly listed in the appropriate area.

NOTE: To prevent double-billing, if you are registering by fax, DO NOT mail your original registration form. SOT needs only one copy for processing. All mailed and faxed registration forms will be processed on-line by SOT staff.

Registration Guidelines

Payment: Registration Forms will be returned if not accompanied by one of the following methods of payment:

• Check (company or personal); U.S. Currency only. Please list all registrants on check memo or check stub.
• Money Orders
• Government Purchase Orders. (Check must be drawn from the U.S. Department of Treasury.)
• Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club, or American Express.

Registration Deadlines:

• Early Bird Registration before January 9, 2006
• Standard Registration January 10–February 7, 2006
• Final Registration is after February 7, 2006
(After March 2 you must Register On-Site.)

DO NOT mail your Registration Form to SOT if it will arrive after March 2, 2006. SOT will accept Annual Meeting Registrations until March 2. After March 2, 2006 registrations will only be accepted on-site at the Annual Meeting.

One-day Registration:

There is no reduced fee for one-day registration.

Tickets:

You must register for the meeting in order to participate in a Continuing Education course or a special event.

Confirmation:

You will receive a registration confirmation, name badge and Continuing Education and/or event ticket(s) before the meeting if your Registration Form is received by February 7, 2006. If registration is required after February 7, you can pick up your badge and tickets at the Registration desk on-site.

CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY:

All requests for cancellations and/or refunds must be received in writing to SOT Headquarters by March 1, 2006. These refunds will be processed, less a $50 fee, following the Annual Meeting. Refund requests received after March 1, 2006, will not be processed.

Guest Registration

The SOT Guest Hospitality Center provides guest participants (non-scientists) with a place to meet and socialize with other guests. The Center will be open Sunday through Thursday and information on local attractions, rental cars, and tours will be available there.

Guests must be registered at the Annual Meeting to access the Hospitality Center. Guests must register on the same form as the person they are accompanying. Guests are welcome to attend the Welcoming Reception, but will not have access to the scientific sessions or the Exhibit Hall. Reminder: Children under the age of 15 are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall.
