Society of Toxicology Ride Sharing Program
The Society of Toxicology fosters participation, professional development,
and networking within the greater toxicology community, particularly among those
who participate in the SOT Annual Meeting. The Society is pleased to announce
this Ride Sharing Program to provide assistance to those interested in limiting
meeting costs by ride sharing. It is available to each meeting registrant who
voluntarily enrolls in the program, and by so doing accepts the following terms.
Please note that it becomes the responsibility of each participant in the program
to communicate with and to work out an agreement with a potential ride sharer.
SOT’s role is strictly limited to the maintenance of the list of registrants
who have signified interest in the program. SOT will maintain the list but does
not (a) screen participants, (b) make any determination as to the appropriateness
of any resulting ride share, or (c) represent that any ride share which may
follow use of the service will prove to be satisfactory to the participants.
Please take note also of the waiver of liability which is a condition of the
use of the service.
After ride matching, the registrants are required to remove their names from
the Ride Sharing list.
