Klaassen Received Career Achievement Award from Metals Specialty Section

Dr. Curtis D. Klaassen received the Career Achievement Award at the Metals Specialty Section (MSS) annual meeting/reception on Wednesday, March 18, which was held in conjuction with the SOT 2009 Annual Meeting. The award is presented in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in four areas in metals toxicology—research, teaching, service, and risk assessments. Many current and former students and postdoctoral fellows from the Klaassen laboratory were on hand to see Dr. Klaassen receive the award.
