SOT Endowment Investing in the Future—Make Your Donation Now!

Did you know that nearly all the SOT Specific Purpose Endowment Funds benefit students and young investigators? Likewise, most of these awards are aligned with Specialty Sections and Special Interest Groups, which are involved in selecting the award recipients. The Endowment Fund helps to address the difficulty of finding funds and achieving scientific recognition early in your career.
Are you a loyal alum and supporter of the colleges and universities that you’ve attended? SOT works hard to be on your list of important organizations that have had a beneficial long-term impact on your career. We hope you’ll include the SOT Endowment Fund in your 2009 year-end contributions. All contributions made prior to January 1 will be matched with the 50th Anniversary Match to give your donation twice the impact. After this date, the SOT 50th Anniversary Match will apply only to donations made to the Endowment General Purpose Funds. The most up-to-date Endowment Donor Form is on the SOT Web site, along with the 2008–2009 Endowment Annual Report. Don’t wait another day to make your donation and invest in the future of the SOT!
