Increase Your Exposure to SOT Members Throughout
the Year
Use printed advertising to increase your exposure to SOT Members throughout
the year. SOT provides your company with opportunities to reach
your targeted markets. The more you advertise the less each advertisement
costs.

Print Media
SOT Membership Directory: All SOT Members and SOT Associates
receive a Membership Directory, which contains the names, addresses,
and email addresses for over 6,000 SOT Members. The majority of members
use this directory on a weekly basis and many members use it on a daily
basis.
Special Communiqué: Over 6,000 SOT Members
receive a copy of the Special Communiqué, in February before
the Annual Meeting. The Special Edition contains detailed information
about the Annual Meeting Program and has a listing of current exhibiting
companies.
Preliminary Program: All SOT Members and prior
Annual Meeting attendees (approximately 10,000) receive a copy of the
Preliminary Program. The Preliminary Program contains
information about the Annual Meeting Program, a registration form, and
housing information. The Preliminary Program mailing is
the largest mailing that SOT does during the year. 2009 Exhibitors
and SOT Affiliates are invited to advertise in this medium.
ToxExpo™ Directory: Over 6,800 attendees of the Annual
Meeting receive a copy of the ToxExpo™ Directory in their registration
packet. Annual Meeting attendees reference this information throughout
the year. 2009 Exhibitors and
SOT Affiliates are invited to advertise in this medium.
Web Media: The ToxEpo™ Web site offers an opportunity for exhibitors to place a banner ad or logo with a link to the organizations URL. Ads will rotate continuously and will be sold based in four-month increments. The number of ads will be limited and sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

Advertisement Submission Guidelines
1–Negatives (Send to SOT Headquarters, Attention: Liz Kasabian)
Please provide film negatives (right-reading, emulsion side down, 133
line screen)
and a black and white composite proof or laser print for all advertisements.
2–Electronic Submission (Send to liz@toxicology.org)
Ads with one spot color—Save file, set
to one color, as high resolution pdf with fonts embedded, using “Press”
as the Distiller settings (“High Quality” for Acrobat 6).
Or—Save file as eps set to one color. Fonts must be converted
to outlines.
Ads with two or more spot colors—Save
file, which has been set up with appropriate spot colors, as eps. Fonts
must be converted to outlines.
4-color process cover ads (call for availability)—Save
as high resolution pdf with fonts embedded, using “Press”
as the Distiller setting (“High Quality” for Acrobat 6).
Images must be CMYK. Fonts must be embedded.
*Artwork may bleed to the edge of listed advertisement dimensions.
