Submit an abstract for the FutureTox III: Transforming 21st Century Science into Risk Assessment and Regulatory Decision-Making meeting online by September 15, 2015, using the form below. The review of abstracts will be conducted by the Scientific Organizing Committee and will be evaluated based on scientific merit. Original abstracts are preferred but previously submitted abstracts will be considered and topics relating to the meeting theme are embraced. The FutureTox III: Transforming 21st Century Science into Risk Assessment and Regulatory Decision-Making abstracts will be published prior to the meeting on the secure website for the meeting attendees to access. All accepted abstract presenters have the option to upload their poster presentations to the same site.

Submission is quick and easy. SOT Members are encouraged to log in to have the form pre-populate your contact information. Nonmembers use your email, create a password, and then follow the directions and screen prompts. Abstracts will only be accepted via the online system. Please contact SOT Headquarters if you need assistance.
Please prepare your abstract in a word processing program, using Times New Roman 12 font, spell check and proofread, and paste into appropriate data entry field on the online submission form.
Each text entry field requires specific information as listed below:
Title: Please enter your abstract title in the appropriate box (please refrain from entering your title in italics or all CAPS) (120 characters)
Presenting Author: List first author only (25 characters)
Affiliation: Institution name, city, country (100 characters)
Abstract Body: Please paste in abstract body in the format listed above.
1600 characters are allowed, with spaces.
Tables and graphs should not be included.Please be aware that special characters (superscript, etc.) and exponents may not appear. If you copied and pasted the title and/or body from your word processor, special characters or formatting will not transfer. You will have to replace special characters by inserting formatting tags using the character palette. To access the palette, click on the "Special Characters" button located on the Title/Body field.
Additional Authors: List secondary authors in the separated boxes provided (first name, middle initial, last name, affiliation). Do not number the authors; the system will automatically match each affiliation with the correct number.
Once all the required information is entered, please click the "submit" button at the bottom of the next page. You will receive a confirmation email with your submitted information. If you do not receive a confirmation within a few minutes, please contact SOT Headquarters to confirm receipt of your abstract.
SUBMISSON OF ABSTRACTS AND ALL REVISIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY MIDNIGHT EDT September 15, 2015. A submitted abstract may be edited online prior to midnight EDT September 15, 2015.

Abstract and Poster Information
Abstracts will be published online, in the SOT FutureTox III: Transforming 21st Century Science into Risk Assessment and Regulatory Decision-Making Abstract On-Demand system. Abstracts should describe the aims of the work, methods, and the key experimental findings in a clear and succinct manner (brevity is important). All abstracts will be reviewed for scientific content and the Scientific Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse abstracts that do not adhere to publication guidelines. It is hoped that abstracts and posters will be the first presentations of the study represented.
Posters will be presented at a reception on the evening of November 19, 2015, as well as available for viewing for the duration of the meeting.
Graduate student and postdoctoral scholar presenters are encouraged to participate in the meeting. We plan to offer partial funding to graduate student and postdoctoral scholars of up to $500 dollars to help offset the cost of travel to the meeting. Registration will be waived for awardees. Please see poster guidelines for allowable size of poster.
NOTE: Please proof your abstract for accuracy and completeness. We have added the ability to submit certain special characters in this form. You will see a list of these characters included on the form below. In order to insert one of these characters in your abstract, simply place your cursor at the exact point you want the symbol to appear, and click on the corresponding symbol graphic from the special character toolbar. In place of the actual symbol, the program will insert special code that will tell us what characters need to be inserted. After submitting your abstract you will be able to preview your final submission online, complete with special characters, and make any changes that are necessary.
