Travel Awards
Date: Applications are due by January 15, 2017.

  • The ITSS provides multiple opportunities for travel support to the SOT Annual Meeting for graduate students and postdocs.
    • Awards Available to Graduate Students: Best Presentation by a Student Award, Best Paper of the Year Award
    • Awards Available to Postdocs: Best Presentation by a Postdoctoral Trainee Award, HESI Immunotoxicology Young Investigator Travel Award, Best Paper of the Year Award

ITSS Student/Postdoc Mentoring Event
Date: TBA

  • This mentoring event is open to graduate students and postdocs and is an excellent opportunity to engage professionals from a range of sectors, including academia, government, consulting, and industry. At this event, you will be able to gain insight in to the nature of work, as well as the training and expertise necessary for a successful transition into employment in a variety of fields. The format of the networking event will be to facilitate a close discussion with a mentor through a series of round table discussions, where you will be able to sit down with professionals from a variety of work sectors who will discuss their careers and answer questions.

  • This event is open to all ITSS members.  Come to network with experts and peers, and to learn more about the ITSS and the ways you can get involved in this specialty section.

Student/Postdoc Mixer
Date: TBA

  • Open to all Graduate Students and Postdocs, whether you are an ITSS member or not! Come stop by our poster to learn more about the many ways ITSS supports students and trainees, to sign up, and when immunotoxicology-related sessions are being held during the meeting. Or just stop by for the free refreshments and door prizes!
