2004 Spring Symposium and Student Poster Competition:

 

The Spring Symposium and student poster competition was held at the Lister Hill Auditorium, National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, Maryland on 8 June 2004.  Approximately 75 people were in attendance.  Individual presentation titles are provided, below.  The entire symposium program, abstracts and/or slide presentations may be found on the chapter’s homepage on the SOT website:

NCAC-SOT 2004 Spring Symposium: Novel Methods for Detecting Hepatotoxic Agents:

·         In Vitro Assessment of Necrosis and Apoptosis using Human Hepatocytes

2004 Fall Symposium and Career Enhancement Day for Students and Post-Docs

 

The Fall Symposium and Career Enhancement Day for Students and Post-Docs will be held at the Lister Hill Auditorium, National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, MD on 2 and 3 November 2004.  Approximately 175 people are expected to attend the Symposium.  The Symposium will be co-sponsored by the NCAC-Society of Risk Analysis. Symposia, Workshops, Roundtables, and CE Courses presented at the 2004 SOT Annual Meeting:

 

The  NCAC-SOT student representative and vice-representative coordinated and hosted a lunchtime symposium entitled,   “Effective Presentations,” at the 2004 The Annual national SOT meeting in Baltimore meeting. Our chapter’s 2004 Career Enhancement Day program has been tentatively accepted as a sunset session for SOT 2005.
