Toxicologist—3M The Material EHS section of the 3M Corporate Medical Department is responsible for the assessment of the health hazards and risks of materials that are important to 3M. We are presently seeking a toxicologist to be a part of a team that supports the development and oversight of safe and sustainable products. The minimum requirements for this position are a PhD in toxicology or a closely related discipline and one year of documented experience assessing human health hazards. Preferred qualifications include documented experience assessing human health risks, experience with global product EHS regulations, and/or experience supporting a product development team. In addition, certification from the American Board of Toxicology in general toxicology or eligibility to sit for the certification examination and a working knowledge of the emerging discipline of systems toxicology are seen as valuable. This position may require up to 10 percent travel and domestic relocation assistance per 3M’s standard relocation policies is approved.
