Research Training Opportunities at NCCT/US EPA

US EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD) has research project training positions available for recent graduates, undergraduate students and graduate students to join the National Center for Computational Toxicology (NCCT). Recent graduates (BS, MS or PhD) must be within five years of graduation. We are looking for individuals with degrees in computer science, statistics, engineering, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, biology, toxicology or a related field. The training positions will allow individuals hands-on experience over a 12 month period, renewable for up to two additional years (three year total appointment period) while working side-by-side with US EPA mentors and scientists. The NCCT provides scientific leadership, understanding and tools related to the application of mathematical and computer models derived from computational chemistry, molecular biology and systems biology. The goal of NCCT’s efforts is to improve the Agency’s chemical prioritizations and risk assessments. NCCT is located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
