The Northland Chapter
of the Society of Toxicology (SOT)* is one of 18 Regional Chapters dedicated
to supporting the development and application of sound science in the
field of toxicology. We serve toxicologists in Minnesota, North and South
Dakota, and Montana by:
-
Sponsoring semi-annual scientific meetings on toxicology, risk assessment,
genomics, and other related topics;
-
Serving as a resource for graduate
students working in toxicology and related disciplines;
-
Conducting outreach
to K-12 schools, science teachers, and others to promote education about
toxicology; and
-
Facilitating collaboration at a regional and local level
for toxicologists conducting research and students seeking careers
in toxicology.
