North Carolina RC Graduate Student Platform Presentation Award

Deadline: September 12

Graduate students will have the opportunity to have a platform presentation judged for the Best Student Platform Award. From submitted abstracts, members of the NC SOT Executive Committee will select up to three students to give platform presentations (15 min PowerPoint presentation; 12 min with 3 min of questions) at the Annual NC SOT Meeting. All platform presentations will be judged for the Best Student Platform Award and cash prizes! You must be an NC SOT Student Member to have your abstract selected and platform presentation judged.

To submit an application, please use the provided NCSOT Abstract Submission Template and send your form or questions to Kelly Shipkowski (kelly.shipkowski@nih.gov).

Please follow SOT abstract guidelines (SOT abstract guidelines). Abstracts selected for platform presentations will demonstrate outstanding clarity in methodology/approach, uniqueness/creativity, thoroughness of investigation, soundness of judgment in interpreting results, and relevance. If NOT selected, you will automatically be entered into the "Poster Presentation Competition" unless you do not wish to present a poster at the NC SOT annual meeting.
