Women in Toxicology SIG Smith and Hook Distinguished Service Award

Deadline: October 18

Dr. Jacqueline Smith and the late Dr. Jerry Hook, have been long-time supporters of SOT and of WIT's mission. Their generous contribution helped to establish the Celebrating Women in Toxicology Endowment Fund and sustain a tradition of supporting awards for undergraduate/graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. In recognition of their generous legacy of supporting women in toxicology, WIT established the Smith and Hook Distinguished Service Award, which is supported by WIT operating funds.

This award honors an individual for their long-term dedication to promote career development opportunities and recognition of the accomplishments of women toxicologists, and for their service and longstanding support to the SOT and/or WIT Special Interest Group (e.g., officer, committee member, volunteer, etc.).
