North Carolina RC President's Award for Research Competition (PARC)

Postdoctoral fellows will be selected for consideration of the PARC award. From submitted abstracts, members of the NC SOT Executive Committee will select up to three postdoctoral fellows to give platform presentations (15 min PowerPoint presentation; 12 min with 3 min of questions) at the Annual NC SOT Meeting. All platform presentations will be judged for the Best Postdoc Platform Award and cash prizes! To be eligible, you must be a postdoctoral fellow with no more than 5 years postdoctoral experience, and a member of the North Carolina SOT Regional Chapter.

Please follow SOT abstract guidelines (SOT abstract guidelines). Abstracts selected for platform presentations will demonstrate outstanding clarity in methodology/approach, uniqueness/creativity, thoroughness of investigation, soundness of judgment in interpreting results, and relevance. If NOT selected, you will automatically be entered into the "Poster Presentation Competition" unless you do not wish to present a virtual poster at the NC SOT annual meeting.
