SOT Undergraduate Research Award

The Society of Toxicology (SOT) Undergraduate Student Research Award recognizes outstanding undergraduates who have not yet received their bachelor's degrees and present research at the Annual Meeting. The goal of the award is to foster interest in graduate studies in the field of toxicology. Awardees are selected based on their research and other statements and the nomination of the advisor. Awardees receive national recognition, complimentary meeting registration, and travel and lodging for the SOT Annual Meeting. Each recipient will be matched with a mentor for the meeting, be recognized during a special event, attend the SOT Undergraduate Education Program, and participate in other meeting activities.
Eligibility Criteria
• Abstract submitted by applicant is accepted for the SOT Annual Meeting; the abstract must be submitted at this site by October 17. An abstract submission fee is of $65 is required.
• Applicant is enrolled in an undergraduate program of study at the time of application and during the SOT meeting
• Applicant has a minimum 3.0 GPA for completed coursework
• Applicant has not previously received the Pfizer SOT Undergraduate Travel Award or SOT Undergraduate Research Award
The applicant will identify the faculty advisor who has agreed to provide the nomination and the person named will receive a message with the link to complete the nomination form, which must be submitted by October 18.
