Northeast RC Paper of the Year Award

The Northeast Society of Toxicology is requesting nominations for the NESOT Annual Paper of the Year Award in recognition of an exceptional recent publication in toxicology by a trainee (graduate student or postdoctoral fellow) who is also a NESOT member.
To be eligible, the paper must have been published or in press in a peer-reviewed journal during the period of December 1, 2021 through November 30, 2022 and first-authored by the award applicant. The award consists of a certificate and a monetary honorarium of $1,000. The recipient will be announced at the NESOT reception at the SOT annual meeting and will be asked to give a 5-10 minute presentation on their work.
To apply: Submit a single PDF document that includes a cover page with a one-page narrative describing the impact of the paper in the field of toxicology and the role that the first author played in conducting the research, which should be followed by a PDF version of the paper. The narrative should be formatted in 11-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins and should not include a reference section. Applications will be judged on their logic and flow, hypothesis, approach, experimental methods or model, results, discussion, and overall manuscript quality. Please submit a copy of the publication in electronic form to Natasha Caitlin by December 9, 2022.
