South Central RC Technology Transfer Award

The Technology Transfer award is to support travel of a graduate student to another laboratory for the purpose of learning a technique not available in the present laboratory or university; and to encourage student to use new technologies in toxicology studies, such as next generation sequencing, CRISPR, nano-material, etc.
Graduate students are eligible to apply for this award provided he/she 1) Is a chapter member in good standing (dues paid prior to or at the time of application); 2) Is supported by mentor and by principal investigator of the laboratory to be visited; 3) Has demonstrated need.
Winner Receives: The amount to support the travel expenses is up to $500 each. Up to two awards will be presented at the fall meeting of the SCC SOT.
