Risk Assessment SS Perry J. Gehring Best Graduate Student Abstract Risk Assessment Endowment Award

Eligibility: Graduate students who are SOT members.
A copy of the abstract submitted to SOT relating to risk assessment, a brief synopsis of the project indicating the relevance to risk assessment (3-5 pages, including tables and figures), and a letter of support from the candidate's major advisor should be sent to the contact below as a single PDF file. The Award Recipient will be selected based on the scientific quality of the abstract, the scientific quality and significance of the research project overall, the significance of the findings described in the abstract, and demonstration of excellence in risk assessment. Applicants will be considered for all RASS awards for which graduate students are eligible. In 2022, two graduate student awards will be given based on the applciations reviewed.
Winner Receives: Achievement plaque to the graduate student and $1,500 check to the graduate student. Two such awards will be given in 2022.
