The Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section is requesting nominations for the DTSS Annual Paper of the Year Award in recognition of an exceptional recent publication in the field of skin toxicology and pharmacology. To be eligible, the paper must have been published or in press in a peer-reviewed journal during the period of August 1 to July 31 and first-authored by an SOT member. Each nomination must be accompanied by an electronic copy of the publication. The award consists of a certificate and a monetary honorarium. The recipient will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section at the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting and must be willing to give a 5–10 minute presentation of their work at the DTSS reception.To apply: please submit a copy of the publication in electronic form to Michael Southall by December 12, 2022.

Edgewell Personal Care Student and Postdoctoral Award |

Edgewell Personal Care is sponsoring monetary awards $250 each for one student and one postdoctoral fellow. The winners will receive a certificate of recognition at the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting. Each candidate whose abstract related to dermal toxicology has been accepted by the SOT for presentation at the Annual Meeting must submit a copy of the abstract in electronic form. The recipient must be willing to give a 5–10 minute presentation of their work at the DTSS reception. To apply: Please submit a copy of the accepted abstract in electronic form by December 12, 2022. Please state in the message that you are either a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow.

The Informa Healthcare Award is presented for the best paper in dermal toxicology published in the Journal of Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology. The winner receives a certificate of recognition and a subscription to the Journal of Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology. Each nomination must be accompanied by an electronic copy of the publication. The recipient will be announced at the Annual Meeting of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section at the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting and must be willing to give a 5–10 minute presentation of their work at the DTSS reception.
