Abstracts: Registrants are welcome to submit a brief abstract for presentation during the breakout room poster sessions. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, October 1. During the breakout poster sessions, each author will be given a brief time to present their poster and answer questions.
Select abstracts will be nominated for an oral platform presentation to the entire meeting. To have your abstract considered for a platform presentation, it must be submitted by Friday, September 24.
Abstracts should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put MISOT ABSTRACT in the subject line. Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and undergraduates who are members of MISOT at the time of the meeting are eligible for awards based on their presentations.
Abstracts are to follow SOT national meeting submission guidelines. Each abstract should be no longer than 2300 characters (including title, body, author last name and institutions; spaces are not included in the character count) and be formatted to include the title, all author names, and institutional affiliations. Per SOT guidelines, abstracts must contain the following:
1) A statement of the rational and scope of the study presented
Of importance, it is perfectly okay to present an abstract that you have presented or plan to present elsewhere, as abstracts are not published as minutes or journal supplement, etc. This meeting will give your work additional exposure.
Deadlines: Abstract submission deadline for consideration for oral platform presentation is Friday, September 24. Abstract submission deadline for breakout session poster presentation is Friday, October 1.
