Mission and Purpose

  • Serves as a focal point for toxicological interests in North Carolina.
  • Promotes dissemination of knowledge about current issues in toxicology.
  • Encourages communication among toxicologists in academia, government, and industry.
  • Sponsors scientific and educational programs in toxicology.
  • Facilitates interactions with local school systems by maintaining central resource material for use in the class room.
  • Send representatives to undergraduate campuses to provide information on educational and career opportunities in toxicology.
  • NCSOT is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in all its activities and supporting all members of our community.
