Annual Meetings 2026 OVSOT Annual Meeting The Ohio Valley Chapter of the Society of Toxicology (OVSOT) will host its 2026 Annual Meeting as an in-person full-day conference on Friday, November 13, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET at the P&G Mason Business Innovation Center (MBIC), 8700 Mason Montgomery Rd., Mason, OH 45040. We encourage all members to attend and participate. Please reach out to individuals with ongoing and potential interests in the field of toxicology and invite them to participate in this meeting! Abstract Submissions - Platform and Poster Sessions/Big Picture Science Please submit your abstract using the SOT Apply Platform. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, October 2, 2026. The presentation format will be selected by the OVSOT Executive Committee based on the submitted research abstract. You will be notified of your presentation format on or before Friday, October 16, 2026. Awards will be given to the top presenters for each award category. Judging will be based on the visual and oral presentation. To be eligible for the PhD or Postdoctoral platform or poster awards, or Masters poster award, the trainee must be a member of OVSOT (undergraduate students are exempt from membership requirements). Abstract Submissions - Early-Stage Investigator Platform Presentation Award If you are within 10 years of being awarded your terminal degree, are a member of OVSOT, and have active or pending SOT membership, please consider submitting an abstract for this award. The awardee will be selected by the OVSOT Executive Committee based on their submitted research abstract and curriculum vitae. The abstract submission deadline is Friday, October 2, 2026. The awardee will be notified on or before Friday, October 16, 2026, and will be a featured speaker at the OVSOT meeting (30-minute research presentation). The “Lunch with an Expert” session is a great interactive environment for trainees to learn about different sectors where toxicologists are employed. Hearing about diverse career paths is extremely helpful in trainee career development.
Please register for the OVSOT Annual Meeting by October 16! Registration is required for the meeting. Individuals registering after October 16 may or may not receive a lunch at the event. If you register late there are multiple restaurants near the event space. Sponsorship Request Please consider requesting that your institution or company provide sponsorship for this meeting. Contributions can also be made by individuals. The OVSOT Annual Meeting is an opportunity for individuals interested in the field of toxicology from across the region to come together for a day long in-person meeting. The event allows for the sharing of cutting-edge research, numerous networking opportunities, and trainee career development. Support provided will be utilized to keep registration fees low and to support trainee members of OVSOT. Your sponsorship can be submitted via the online form.
