Transportation: Airfare

Internet shopping has allowed for more competitive airfares and at any time airfare can fluctuate and checking periodically with Comparefare, Priceline, Kayak, Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity will help provide the best fares available.

Most major airlines have service to Oahu; these include the following: Hawaiian Airlines, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines.

For student discounts on airfare, check out Orbitz Student Universe as they have lower rates for those students who apply as enrolled.

The referenced transportation options below include private carriers who are listed with the Western Motor Tariff Bureau; limousine companies; rental car companies; taxis; and the municipal public transportation.

For reference purposes of this writing, we have used the point to point transfer example of the Honolulu International Airport to the Resort area of Waikīkī. Private carriers are available for charter vehicle services upon request and return confirmation.
