The CTSS is pleased to announce that we are continuing our mentoring program for young scientists. During this six-month mentoring program, we will match professionals working in the field of Computational Toxicology with early career scientists, such as students and postdoctoral trainees, to support professional development of the mentees. Both mentors and mentees will commit to meeting for 1 hour, at least four times during the entirety of the program. The mentee is encouraged to consider in advance what topics they would be most interested in discussing.
The goal of this program is to generate awareness of the various career paths in this very diverse field, both in terms of scientific background and in terms of possible future career opportunities. Additionally, it is our intention to provide networking opportunities and practical support for junior scientists in how to successfully navigate their professional development.
