Dr. Ramirez-Lee is a Biocompatibility Scientist at Cook Research Inc, where he is involved in conducting biocompatibility evaluations and toxicological hazard risk assessments in accordance with ISO 10993 standards. He received his/her/their doctorate in Bioprocess from the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi in 2017 and was a postdoctoral fellow at he completed postdoctoral fellowships at the department of integrative biology from the Oklahoma State University, the Neurotoxicology division from the Food and Drug Administration’s National Center of Toxicological Research [NCTR], and the Mitchell Center for Neurogenerative Diseases at the University of Texas Medical Brach.
Dr. Ramirez-Lee has served on the Editorial board of Toxenlaces and as a Councilor at the Hispanic Organization of Toxicologists. He is author and co-author of multiple publications including peer-reviewed articles and a book chapter related to neuro- and nanotoxicology. He has been a member of the SOT since 2016 and has served the SOT.
