Online Resources
- Mouse Brain Library — High-resolution images and databases of brains from many genetically characterized strains of mice. MBL systematically maps and characterizes genes that modulate the architecture of the mammalian CNS.
- Allen Brain Atlas — An interactive, genome-wide image database of gene expression in the mouse brain. A combination of RNA in situ hybridization data, detailed reference atlases, and informatics analysis tools provide a searchable digital atlas of gene expression.
- Confocal Images of Rat Brain — A digital image gallery that explores many regions of the rat brain as observed with immunofluorescence in coronal, horizontal, and sagittal thick sections using laser scanning confocal microscopy.
- Translating Time — Integrates hundreds of empirically-derived neural events to translate neurodevelopmental time across hamsters, mice, rats, rabbits, spiny mice, guinea pigs, ferrets, cats, rhesus monkeys, and humans.
