Childcare Services

SOT has contracted with KiddieCorp to provide childcare during the 65th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. KiddieCorp is a premier provider of children’s program services during events, providing services to conventions, trade shows, and special events for 40 years. The program will provide care for children aged 6 months through 12 years old.

The cost for the childcare program is $25.00 per hour, per child. Children must be registered for a minimum of two consecutive hours per child for each day enrolled. You also can enroll your child(ren) for a half day ($90.00 per child) or full day ($175.00 per child).

Also, registrants are allowed to bring children under full parental/guardian control into the Scientific Sessions and the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall. For more on the SOT child policy, view the SOT Annual Meeting Policies.

First-Aid and Emergency Services

If an emergency should occur while at the San Diego Convention Center, use any white house phone located in each meeting room and dial 5911 to connect with a Public Safety dispatcher, or from an outside line or mobile phone, call 619.525.5911.

A first-aid room is located near SOT Registration in Lobby A and will be open each day of the meeting.

Food Services

Coffee Breaks

The ToxExpo exhibitors are pleased to sponsor complimentary coffee and tea in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall Monday–Wednesday starting at 9:00 am while beverages last. See on-site signs in the Exhibit Hall for locations.

Concessions Stands

Concession services will be available in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall, Monday–Wednesday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm. There will be open seating in the rear of the exhibit hall near the concession stands.

Refreshment Breaks

Enjoy a beverage and light snack in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall on Monday and Wednesday, 2:30 pm–3:30 pm.

On Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm, the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall will be the place to enjoy an enhanced refreshment break with networking, mentoring, Poster Session presentations, and exhibit booth visits.

San Diego Convention Center Dining

The San Diego Convention Center offers Starbucks locations throughout the center. Additional retail options, such as Mrs. Fields or Cafe Express, will be available. The hours of operation vary daily for each outlet, and outlets are 100% cashless.

Physical and Mental Wellness

  • Mothers’ Lounge

    The San Diego Convention Center offers Mothers’ Lounges within the women’s restrooms of Lobbies A and E. In addition, Mamava Pods are installed in four locations: in Lobby B2 and Lobby H on the Ground Level, outside Room 17B on the Mezzanine level, and in Lobby 20A on the Upper Level. These private lactation spaces are free to use and have electrical outlets to pump. The pods can be found and accessed using the Mamava app.

  • Restrooms

    The San Diego Convention Center provides ample bathrooms that are easily accessible from all major event spaces, exhibition halls, and meeting rooms. The convention center is committed to inclusivity and convenience, featuring family restrooms and ADA-compliant facilities to ensure comfort and accessibility for all guests. Lobby A has a gender-neutral and accessible restroom with two private single-occupancy rooms, each with a locking door and floor-to-ceiling walls. Additional gender-neutral restrooms will be available within ToxExpo and on the Upper Level, near Room 7A.

  • Quiet Room

    As you navigate the whirlwind of sessions, networking, and the constant stream of information, the Quiet Room beckons, offering you a tranquil haven to gather your thoughts, find solace, and savor a moment of personal reflection. To maintain a serene environment, we kindly request that attendees respect the hushed atmosphere by silencing phones, minimizing conversations, and avoiding disruptive activities within this space.

Internet Access at the Convention Center

Free Wireless Internet Access

SOT will provide free wireless internet access in the San Diego Convention Center where SOT events are being held. To connect to the free wireless internet, browse the available wireless networks, select the 2026SOT wireless network, and use the password SOTguest.

@SOT Center

Open daily, the @SOT Center is where attendees can pick up ribbons for their badges, check email, print a document, and more.

Lost and Found

All items should be taken to the SOT Office located in the convention center. Please note that any items remaining in the office after 5:30 pm on Wednesday, March 25, will be returned to SOT Headquarters in Reston, Virginia. Scientific Session posters left on boards in the Exhibit Hall on Monday and Tuesday will be placed on designated retrieval tables throughout the Exhibit Hall. However, any posters left on boards or on the retrieval tables after the Exhibit Hall closes at 4:30 pm on Wednesday will be recycled.

SOT Office

The SOT Office is located in the Convention Center. SOT leadership and staff use this office to conduct SOT business while on-site. Visit the office to report or reclaim lost-and-found items at the convention center.
