Business Centers

There is no business center located within the Salt Palace Convention Center. The nearest business center is a UPS Store that is located within 0.2 miles of the convention center (approximately a three-minute walk). There also is a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center near the Salt Palace Convention Center. It is between 0.3 and 0.4 miles away (approximately a six-minute walk).

Childcare Services

SOT will partner with a childcare service provider for the 2024 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. This web page will be updated when information on this service is available. Also, registrants are allowed to bring children under full parental/guardian control into the Scientific Sessions and the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall. First-Aid and Emergency Services

If an emergency should occur while at the Salt Palace Convention Center, use any white house phone located throughout the center. Those phones automatically dial Salt Palace Convention Center’s Guest Services that is staffed 24 hours a day. From an outside line or mobile phone, call 385.468.2220 to contact the Guest Services Office.

A first-aid room is located between room 150 A and the North Ballroom Foyer (across from the women’s restroom) and will be open each day of the meeting.

Food Services

Coffee Breaks

The exhibiting companies are pleased to sponsor complimentary coffee in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall, Monday–Wednesday, 9:30 am–10:00 am. See on-site Exhibit Hall signage for locations.

Concessions Stands

Concession services will be available in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall, Monday–Wednesday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm. There will be open seating throughout the hall.

Refreshment Breaks

The exhibitors invite you to visit them in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall Hall and partake in a beverage and light snack, Monday–Wednesday, 2:30 pm–3:30 pm.

Salt Palace Convention Center Dining

A coffee bar is located in the Lower Concourse, across from Hall C. The Salt Shaker Grab&Go, an autonomous retail store, is located on the second level across from Room 252. Hours of operations vary daily for both outlets. A Market Coffee & Fresh Goods shop is open daily, 6:00 am–10:00 pm in the Hyatt Regency Lobby, which is attached to the convention center.

    Automated doors are located at all entrances to the Salt Palace Convention Center. Motor scooter and wheelchair rental is available at the facility. Quantities are limited, so it is recommended that you make a reservation in advance of your arrival.

Nursing Mothers and Families

SOT is supporting a childcare service during the 2024 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, and children are allowed in Scientific Sessions and the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall.

Nursing Mother’s Lounges

The Salt Palace Convention Center has three Nursing Mother’s Lounges. Two are located on the first level: one between the built-in coffee stand near Room 150 A and the escalators across from the Grand Ballroom and the other next to the Guest Services Office at the north end of the Main Concourse across from Room 151. The third lounge is on the second level across from Room 254.

Restrooms

All public restrooms in the Salt Palace Convention Center are accessible per federal ADA requirements. There also are three family/gender-neutral restrooms: one outside of Room 255, one just inside the entrance to the Hyatt Regency, and one in Hall 5.

Internet Access at the Convention Center

Free Wireless Internet Access

SOT will provide free wireless internet access in the Salt Palace Convention Center where SOT events are being held. To connect to the free wireless internet, browse the available wireless networks, select the 2024SOT wireless network, and use the password SOTguest.

Look for @SOT Center kiosks in the Salt Palace Convention Center to browse the SOT Event App, check email, check in for flights, etc.

Coat/Luggage Check

A coat/luggage check will be available near Registration. Laptops, cameras, and other electronics will not be accepted for a small fee.

Lost and Found

Items should be taken to the SOT Office in the convention center. Any items left in the office after 11:30 am on Thursday, March 14, will be returned to SOT Headquarters in Reston, Virginia. Information on retrieving posters not claimed by the end of Poster Sessions will be available on the “Poster Sessions” web page by October 2023.

SOT Office

The SOT Office is located in the convention center. SOT leadership and staff use this office to conduct SOT business while on-site. Visit the office to report or reclaim lost-and-found items at the convention center.
