Scientists, exhibitors, speakers, and others fully vaccinated against COVID-19 may join SOT in San Diego, March 27–31, 2022, for the SOT 61st Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. Others are invited and encouraged to participate in the livestreams of Scientific Sessions remotely through the enhanced 2022 meeting experience.
As a scientific society focused on improving public health, SOT is committed to hosting a safe meeting that adheres to the best medical advice available and in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations. Requiring proof of vaccination, as mandated by California regulations, or documented medical exemptions for those attending the SOT meeting on-site in San Diego allows the Society to adhere to its mission and principles. This requirement also protects any SOT members in more vulnerable health positions (e.g., aged 65+, immunocompromised). By providing an enhanced meeting experience that will make many Scientific Sessions available for livestreaming and on-demand viewing, those who cannot join the Society in San Diego will be able to benefit by registering for the meeting.
Details on how to provide vaccination documentation will be provided before the meeting begins.
Toxicologists, trainees, those from related fields, and others who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 may attend the SOT 61st Annual Meeting and ToxExpo on-site in San Diego. Per California regulations, proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for all on-site attendees to ensure the safety and health of all participants.
