SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Opportunities Abound in San Diego—and Remotely

Individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 may join SOT in its return to San Diego. During the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, those on-site in San Diego will:

  • Connect and network with 6,000 attendees
  • Attend 60+ Featured and Scientific Sessions
  • Interact with 250+ service and product providers in the ToxExpo

Individuals unable to come to San Diego owing to vaccination status or travel restrictions are invited to remotely join the San Diego proceedings for scientific presentations and discussions, as most Scientific Sessions will be livestreamed and available on demand. More information on remote participation will be available in the coming months, as will information on how to provide proof of vaccination or documentation regarding medically approved exceptions to vaccination.

SOT recognizes that no two meeting attendees are the same—some thrive amid the discussions and debates while others prefer to quietly reflect on the proceedings. Therefore, the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo hosts a variety of activities and services to create an enjoyable meeting experience for all.

Health and Safety

As a society focused on public health, SOT is monitoring and following recommendations and regulations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and state and local health authorities. Per California mandates, all individuals attending the meeting on-site in San Diego are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical exemption status.

Science and Learning

More than 2,000 presentations will be delivered through Scientific Sessions, Continuing Education courses, Poster Sessions, and Exhibitor-Hosted Sessions. Most Scientific Sessions will be livestreamed, allowing for questions and answers from those on-site and remote attendees, as well as recorded for on-demand access by all registrants.
