The last remnants of an orange sunset can be seen on the horizon. The image is focused on a large three-story building that covers multiple city blocks. The building is shining from its interior lights since most of its walls are covered with windows and white exterior, while a rooftop feature that looks like a series of ship sails glows bright pink. Lining the street that runs in front of the bulding are palm trees.

SOT Childcare Program

SOT has contracted with KiddieCorp to provide childcare during the 61st Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. KiddieCorp is a premier provider of children’s program services during events. The Childcare Program will be located at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina and will provide care for children ages 6 months through 12 years old.

This program is for children accompanying registered attendees to help maximize the meeting experience for registrants traveling with children. The cost for the childcare program is $12.00 per hour, per child. Children must be registered for a minimum of two consecutive hours per child for each day enrolled.

The advance enrollment deadline is January 21, 2022. You are encouraged to enroll early, as availability is limited and handled on a first-come, first-served basis. KiddieCorp must receive both the enrollment form and payment in full to hold reservations. See the enrollment form for more information about KiddieCorp services.

Health and Safety

The Society, as well as KiddieCorp and the Marriott, are monitoring safety and health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and state and local health authorities. SOT will continually adjust its processes for the event in accordance with these directives.

KiddieCorp and Marriott staff are required to wear masks, as are children over 2 years of age. Upon arrival, all staff and children will be screened and have their temperatures checked.

Hand sanitation stations are located throughout the hotel, including in the childcare room. The Marriott has a full fresh-air filtration system and does not recycle air. The meeting space and guest rooms are filtered from the outside.

Additional information can be found in the KiddieCorp COVID-19 Polices and Guidelines.
