Message from the Scientific Program Committee Chair
The 60+ Scientific Sessions planned for the SOT 59th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo represent important, timely, and transformative research in toxicology. Combined with the Continuing Education courses and Featured Sessions, the robust scientific program will offer ample opportunities for learning, discussion, and debate.
On the “Program Overview” web page, a quick glimpse at the full meeting schedule (scientific and other events) is available, whereas the “Program Details” web page and its Online Planner provide in-depth information for all events and allow you to build a customized schedule.
Part of this schedule is the 2020 Plenary Session on Monday, March 16, at 1:00 pm; Atul Butte of the University of California San Francisco will present a lecture titled “Precisely Practicing Medicine from 700 Trillion Points of Data.” On Wednesday, March 18, Dame Amanda Fisher of the Medical Research Council (MRC) London Institute of Medical Sciences will deliver the Keynote MRC Lecture at 12:30 pm.
More Featured Sessions will be announced over the next few months, and I look forward to sharing more information with you through the Online Planner and this website as details become available.
